Nova Centre, Halifax, Announces The Sutton Place as its Anchor Hotel

On the heels of the Halifax Convention Centre opening, The Sutton Place Hotel announced it will anchor Canada's newest convention centre. Sutton Place, which offers a sophisticated collection of luxury properties across western Canada will be making their Atlantic Canada debut with this new property.

The hotel will feature 262 well-appointed guest rooms and suites with an on-site contemporary restaurant and lounge along with underground parking. 

“Becoming part of the Halifax Convention Centre community and opening our first hotel in Eastern Canada is a very proud moment for us,” said Tom Gaglardi, Chairman and CEO of The Sutton Place Hotels. “Our philosophy is ‘A Tradition of Luxury’, and that’s exactly what we’ll be bringing to Halifax.”

Finishing work on the property will begin immediately, with a grand opening scheduled in Spring 2019.

The Halifax Convention Centreicons.external-link-icon opened its doors in December 2017. It will welcome 100+ events with an expected 80,000+ delegates in its first year of operations.
