CERVO Brain Research Centre in Québec City, one of Canada's leading neuroscience and mental health centres, is focused on the root causes of brain diseases.Researchers at the Brain Repair Centre in Halifax are working to discover and develop the means to prevent, repair and reverse damage to cells and synaptic connections in the brain and spinal cord.

Success stories:

The Brain and Mental Health Initiative at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary uses the clot-busting drug tPA to reduce stroke treatment time from 70 minutes to 36 minutes, among the fastest in the world for stroke treatments.
