A Ceremonial Feast

Feel your heart beating in time with the ceremonial drumming of the Coastal Mountain Squamish and Lil’wat People who have inhabited Whistler’s territorial lands for millennia. Feel their song pull you in. Above and before you: towering longhouse poles whose masterful carvings tell their own stories. Canoes and intricately decorated ceremonial masks are their own works of art. Dancers greet you in colourful pageantry, elders offer a blessing and a warm welcome. This is Whistler’s Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, and the start of a celebration that will long be remembered.

This exceptional experience celebrates the heritage and living culture of the Squamish and Lil’wat First Nations. A feast for your eyes and your soul where one-of-a-kind art, song and ceremony come together. Feast on a gourmet menu inspired by First Nation’s traditional fare. Fill up on stories and songs. Celebrate the heritage and culture of our earliest peoples, their legends and mythology.
