Toronto to Host Microsoft Ignite | The Tour Event
Toronto has long been heralded as a hub of tech innovation, now, it’s the only one of two North American cities to host Microsoft’s community-building event for developers and tech professionals January 10 and 11, 2019.
“Toronto has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing tech markets,” says Tara Gordon, vice president, sales and service for Business Events Toronto. “It has a large proportion of the world’s technology companies, putting attendees within arm’s reach of some of the biggest names in the sector.”
The two-day event is an opportunity for tech pros to get up-close and personal with one of the world’s leading tech giants, connecting with 350+ experts in more than 100 workshops and educational sessions, taking a deep dive into Microsoft’s latest developer tools and cloud technologies. Hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the event allows participants to gain practical insights on the future of cloud development, data, IT and business intelligence, while a variety of learning paths are designed to deepen skills and evolve user’s expertise.
